WALKING TOUR LIABILITY WAIVER
Acknowledgment of Risk:
I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the walking tour organized by Granville Island Tours. I understand and accept that walking tours may involve certain inherent risks, hazards, and dangers that could result in injury, illness, or even death. These risks include, but are not limited to:
- Physical exertion associated with walking
- Uneven terrain, steps, or slippery surfaces
- Interaction with local traffic or other obstacles
- Weather conditions
- The possibility of getting lost or separated from the group
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this walking tour and I assume full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of my participation. I certify that I am in good health and have no physical or medical conditions that would interfere with my ability to safely participate in this tour.
Release of Liability:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the walking tour, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Granville Island Tours, its employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability for any injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur during or as a result of my participation in this walking tour, whether caused by the negligence of Granville Island Tours or otherwise.
Medical Treatment Authorization:
In the event of any injury or medical condition that arises during the tour, I authorize Granville Island Tours to obtain emergency medical treatment for me at my own expense.
Photo / Video Release:
I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the walking tour for promotional or marketing purposes. I grant Granville Island Tours permission to use any images of me captured during the tour without compensation.
Acknowledgment of Understanding:
I have read and fully understand this liability waiver, and with booking this event I agree to it’s conditions by participating. Any member under the age of consent is under the the consent of the guardian who is booking the event on their behalf.
